In our version of Kalah, you play against an AI opponent.
The game board consists of 12 small pits — 6 on your side and 6 on the AI’s — arranged in two rows, as well as two large pits on the sides called “Kalahs,” used to collect stones. At the start of the game, each of the 12 small pits contains 6 stones.
On your turn, you select any pit on your side, take all the stones from it, and distribute them one by one into the following pits — including your own Kalah, but skipping your opponent’s Kalah. If the last stone lands in your Kalah, you get an extra turn.
If the last stone lands in an empty pit on your side and the opposite pit on the AI’s side contains stones, you capture both and place them into your Kalah.
The game ends when all pits on one player’s side are empty. The remaining stones on the other side are moved to that player’s Kalah.
The winner is the one with the most stones in their Kalah at the end. If both players have the same number of stones, the game ends in a draw.
Strategy buffs and logic puzzle fans who enjoy turn-based challenges will thrive here. It suits players seeking a relaxing yet intellectually stimulating experience that tests planning abilities. Anyone interested in ancient board games will appreciate the refined rules and the competitive AI that keeps every match engaging.
You win Kalah by collecting more stones in your large store, known as the Kalah, than your AI opponent by the time all small pits are empty.
