How to play
The goal of the game is to checkmate the opponent's king, that is, to attack him so that he does not have a single legal move to defend himself.
The players take turns, and white starts first. Each of the six figures moves in its own way:
— The king goes to one field in any direction.
— The queen is the strongest piece, moves any distance vertically, horizontally and diagonally.
— The rook moves in a straight line vertically and horizontally.
— The bishop moves diagonally to any number of squares.
— The knight walks with the letter "G" and can jump over other pieces.
— The pawn moves only forward, but cuts diagonally; it can jump over the square from the initial position.
The player must protect his king from the check. If there are no moves to defend, it's checkmate and the end of the game. A draw is possible: a stalemate, a lack of matting material, or a three-fold repetition of the position.
