How to play
The goal is to open every cell except the mined ones. A number on an open cell says how many mines hide in its eight neighbours. If there are no mines around, the cell is empty, and such cells open in one batch.
The first move is always safe. After that it is comparison: if a 1 has a single closed neighbour left, that neighbour is a mine; if all of a number's mines are already flagged, the rest of its neighbours are clear. The whole game grows out of these two rules.
A flag is placed with a long press or the right mouse button. You can switch on flag mode — then an ordinary tap places a flag.
Tapping an open number that already has the right number of flags around it opens all the remaining neighbours at once. On a phone this is the main accelerator.
You will not have to guess on any board. If no move is in sight, “Hint” names the numbers it follows from and walks through the reasoning step by step.
