Slavic folklore hides dark secrets beneath quiet villages where restless spirits wait for an unsuspecting hero to stumble into their lair. Iznanka turns these ancient myths into a gritty turn-based challenge where every step counts toward your survival. You pick a warrior, witch, or jester to navigate the shifting tunnels of this treacherous dungeon. Bumping into foes triggers combat, while your hero skills help manage the cooldowns that keep you alive against the undead. Shrines appear after you clear a floor to grant powerful wards that change how your character performs in the shadows. Defeating heavy bosses like Baba Yaga allows you to drag spirit back to the surface for permanent village upgrades. Because every run generates a new layout, you never face the exact same threat twice. Start your journey into the depths right here in your browser without any annoying downloads.
Move with the on-screen buttons, or arrow keys / WASD on desktop — stepping into an enemy attacks it. Each hero has two skills (buttons on the right), each with its own cooldown — use them wisely. Clearing a floor opens a shrine offering a choice of three wards, active for the whole run. Spend spirit collected in the dungeon at the shrine: healing or rerolling ward choices. Die, and the run ends — but spirit converts into sparks to upgrade the village for good. In the village, boost your hero along four paths and unlock new heroes.
Strategy fans and roguelike enthusiasts who enjoy deep character building and turn-based combat. If you appreciate dark atmosphere, tactical decision-making, and themes rooted in mythology, you will spend hours mastering the mechanics of this dungeon crawler while trying to conquer the toughest bosses in the village.
You unlock new characters by spending spirit sparks to upgrade the village paths between your dungeon runs.
The controls are designed for easy touch input, allowing you to move and trigger skills with simple screen taps.
Your runs are saved through your browser, and spirit sparks are permanently stored to ensure your village upgrades remain intact after each death.
