This is a game engine for the second generation of HOMM, written from scratch. It fully reproduces the original game with significant improvements in gameplay, graphics and logic (including support for high-resolution graphics, improved AI, numerous fixes and improvements to the user interface). All this breathes new life into one of the most exciting turn-based strategy games.
This is a turn-based strategy game in which the player controls a castle and heroes. Various buildings can be built in the castle - both for hiring troops and, for example, for studying magic. Having assembled an army, the heroes can travel with it across the game map, where various resources can be found. It is thanks to resources that it becomes possible to build buildings and hire troops. There are also mines on the map that can constantly provide resources, structures with various bonuses, and so on. Each hero has primary skills with a certain value (attack, defense, magic power, knowledge) and secondary ones (for example, pathfinder, necromancy, etc.). The hero does not have all of his secondary skills at once and are given at different levels of development (beginner, advanced, etc.). On the map there are neutral monsters, other castles, as well as heroes and castles of the enemy. The goal of each mission, as a rule, is to capture all enemy cities and destroy troops.
