Solving crimes in a city full of liars requires more than a badge, it requires a sharp eye for a winning hand. Detective Poker: Noir turns the classic poker game into a high-stakes interrogation where your strategy determines the fate of the city. You start by filling a grid to construct poker hands that grant you powerful tools for the upcoming duel. Stronger combinations like a straight or a flush translate into superior weaponry against your suspect. Once the board is set, the interrogation shifts into a tense battle of wits where you must outplay the opponent to break their resolve. Six distinct suspects wait for you, each with unique tendencies ranging from nervous bluffs to cold-blooded silence. Managing your tools effectively decides if you earn a confession or watch the perpetrator walk free. Every session brings three cases that keep the pressure high and the stakes climbing. Phase 1 — Gathering Evidence
You are dealt a 52-card deck. Place cards onto a 5×5 grid. Each completed row or column is scored as a poker hand: Pair gives 10 points and an Extra Card tool, Straight — 50 points and Block, Flush — 70 and Pressure, Four of a Kind — 100 and Ultimatum, Royal Flush — 200 points and Trump. The stronger your hands, the weaker the boss will be during interrogation.
Phase 2 — Poker Duel
After filling the grid, the interrogation begins. You and the suspect are each dealt 5 cards. Mark unwanted cards and swap them once per round. Press Present Evidence — hands are compared. Win and you deal damage. Lose and your next hand shrinks by one card. You have 8 rounds to break the suspect's resolve. Use the tools earned in Phase 1 at the right moment.
Tip: Use the Scout tool before presenting evidence to reveal hidden suspect cards.
Fans of strategic card games and noir mysteries enjoy this challenge. Logic puzzle lovers looking for a deeper layer of gameplay will appreciate the intersection of deck management and detective work. Casual players wanting a quick brain workout will find the bite-sized cases easy to pick up today.
You win by building strong poker hands to earn tools, then using those tools to deplete the suspect's resolve in the interrogation phase.
